Diary – 2026/06/06

June 5, 2025, Wednesday.
Caldwell, Idaho.

I made a delivery to Clearfield, Utah at 7 in the morning on Sunday. That same evening at 8:30, I had a pick up from Eagle Mountain, Utah. I went to Eagle Mountain early. I dropped the trailer. Because they said the load would be ready in 10 hours, I went to a truck stop an hour away. They called around 1:30 in the night saying the load was ready. I woke up at 6 in the morning, went to get the load. Then I delivered the load to the Walmart distribution center in Los Lunas, New Mexico at 2:30 in the night. There were different, beautiful, scenic roads again.

Tuesday morning I hit the road towards Deming, New Mexico for the next pick up. They loaded onions from Deming up to the brim. The truck became 40 tons. Now I am taking it to Prosser, Washington. I’ll arrive by evening, and they’ll take the load tomorrow morning.

The Utah – New Mexico load was $1800. And the price of the New Mexico – Washington load is $4500. That is the price of the load, not my earnings. My earnings are 30% of it anyway. So it’s good, I drive resting and without getting tired. I don’t have my old energy, my old strength. Frankly, I don’t have my old desire, my old appetite either. That’s why it’s better this way. Quite sufficient money. Not much need for more.

I am trying to pay off debts anyway. It’ll take a year or two to pay them off, however you look at it. Like this, little by little, we will go and come back. We will earn and earn, and we will close our debts. There’s nothing to do. We shouldn’t have gotten those credit cards years ago, but we got them and used them. Now we will fucking pay them off.
