Good morning, Sumner, Washington.
The driver knocked out at 8:30 PM. Woke up at 2 AM. Drove for 2 hours and rolled into the Flying J Travel Center in Aurora, Oregon. Had a Cinnabon, drank some coffee, took a shit, got a shower. Topped off with diesel, DEF, and reefer fuel, then hit the road.
Got to the Portland delivery spot an hour early—appointment was at 6, I was there at 5. They unloaded quick. Drove another 2.5 to 3 hours, and now I’m somewhere around Seattle.
They’ve got me waiting. While I wait, I pulled up to this hot dog spot called Frankfurter. Got a chili cheese hot dog + fries + a Pibb Extra. $15.19. Bon appétit.
After this, I’ll be heading two hours back toward Portland. Got a 2 PM pickup appointment in Ridgefield, Washington. Delivery’s on Saturday in York, Pennsylvania. 2,796 miles. The load pays $5,800. I’m getting 30%. That’s $1,740. Thank God. Gotta pay off some debts. If I can clear ‘em by next year, great. If not, no biggie.
Life’s good. Time to eat now. Hot dog just showed up. 🙂
